Carmen Daniel is a Principal Consultant at Engage Werks! Solutions, bringing over 15 years of experience in behavioral science, public health evaluation, and strategic planning to help organizations turn data into actionable strategies that drive meaningful impact. With a focus on equity, collaboration, and human-centered design, Carmen partners with non-profits, government agencies, academic institutions, and community-based organizations to design and implement initiatives that improve programs, policies, and systems.

Throughout her career, Carmen has led and supported high-profile projects with organizations including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National Institutes of Health (RECOVER Initiative), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), Arthur M. Blank Foundation, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and the Georgia Department of Public Health. She has extensive experience developing and engaging statewide and nationwide coalitions and working groups, bringing together community members, academics, providers, payers, tribal organizations, program implementers, caregivers, and patients. This breadth of audiences demonstrates her flexibility and skill in building trust, fostering collaboration, and advancing collective impact.

Carmen is a recognized expert in translating complex data into actionable insights, using qualitative and mixed-methods research, stakeholder engagement, and equity-centered evaluation to inform strategic planning, program design, and policy decisions. She has led initiatives on social determinants of health, chronic disease prevention, health equity training, worksite wellness, nutrition and physical activity programs, and national evaluation efforts. Carmen’s work consistently leverages cross-sector partnerships to ensure initiatives are inclusive, data-driven, and sustainable.

As a skilled facilitator and strategist, Carmen thrives at the intersection of team development, strategic planning, and organizational transformation. She has successfully guided statewide initiatives, multi-year grant programs, and national evaluation projects, ensuring that every effort is people-centered, inclusive, and designed for measurable, long-term outcomes. Her work reflects a steadfast commitment to equity, inclusive engagement, and actionable solutions that strengthen communities and systems alike.
